Warsaw is the county seat and known for having a vibrant downtown with an infusion of lakes and beautiful parks. Warsaw is situated around three lakes including Center Lake, Pike Lake, and Hidden Lake. These provide for paddle boarding, fishing, ski shows, swimming, and kayak recreation. Local parks and beaches keep families entertained during the summer. There are walking and cycling trails that run around the city and bike-ways that connect points of interest in the community.
Warsaw is also known as the Orthopedic Capital of the World due to the many orthopedic companies that were founded and remain here. The orthopedic industry is the largest provider of jobs in the county.
Browse the shops where you will find boutiques, antiques, fashions, furniture, jewelry, books, artisan, art galleries, and Himalayan Salt rooms. The newly enhanced alley and courtyard square provide public spaces for the locals to gather and spend time together.
Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital
Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital is a 72-bed facility with all-private rooms, located on a 30-acre medical campus. Accredited by The Joint Commission and a part of Lutheran Health Network, we offer a variety of services, including emergency care, an urgent care center, heart and stroke care, orthopedics, occupational health, rehabilitation services, a sleep center, a wound care center and a cancer care center providing chemotherapy and radiation therapy. KCH has the only emergency department in the county that is an accredited chest pain center and accredited stroke center. We are also the only hospital in the county with inpatient capability. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care with the best possible experience to every patient, every time and to making a positive impact on our community.
